The Idaho Department of Natural Resources has announced it is open for business, allowing dog owners to get their hiking gear and hiking trails open for dogs to enjoy.
The DNR said in a news release that the agency’s new dog hiking equipment, the Dog Walking Hiking Equipment, will be available in the spring of 2018.
The department said the Dog Hiking Hiking equipment includes a harness, a harness stand, leash, leash harness, dog walker, leash and walking shoes.
The harness is available in black, yellow, red and green.
The Hiking Trails will be open to all dog owners in the winter and summer.
The Idaho Department for Recreation, Parks and Tourism said dogs are welcome to use the Dog hiking trails in the fall and winter.
The Dog Hike Equipment will be a free outdoor event and is not available to purchase for dogs.DNR officials say the Dog walking equipment is available to anyone who is willing to bring a dog, regardless of age or size.
The dog hiking trails are located at the DNR’s Boise Office of Public Lands.
The state parks are in the mountains of Idaho and will be accessible from the Boise Office, which is located in Boise, Idaho.
The dogs are not allowed on trails that are designated for humans and are restricted to dogs of at least a four-legged size, the state parks said.
The park offices in Idaho also are located in the western part of the state.
The states Dog Hikers, Dog Walking and Dog Trails are open on a 24-hour basis.
