I had no idea how I was going to get to this hike.
But I did it.
I have never done anything like this before.
I was in the car on the way to this trailhead.
It was a day trip.
On the way there, I was getting my head down for the hike.
I had planned to take the short walk to the base camp, but that was going out the window.
A few days later, I took the long walk up a steep and rocky trail.
My friend had been camping with me and I thought I could at least see her, so I decided to take her along.
After a little bit of walking and some scrambling up the trail, I saw the trailhead to the next day’s hike.
The hike was a little bumpy, but I made it.
The rest of the way, it was pretty straight forward.
And then the sun came out.
But that was the only reason I thought about hiking today.
The sun was really out of focus and I was just focusing on the trail and the hike ahead.
I didn’t really think about it too much at the time, but when I look back on it now, it makes me think about why I was so scared.
What if I am going to die?
I would have been a little scared to do this hike, but now I know that it was a good decision.
So what were my other reasons?
Because this is a hiking trip, I have a day job.
I am trying to keep my life on track, so my work is not the main reason for my hike.
