The St. Paul Saints have acquired forward JaromIR Jagr from the St. John’s Ice Caps, the team announced on Tuesday.

The 26-year-old forward is the latest addition to a St. Peter’s roster that already includes forward Kevin Hayes, defenseman Travis Hamonic and goalie Matt O’Connor.

Jagr, who turns 26 on Wednesday, scored one goal in eight games with the St, but the team is now looking to upgrade in goal.

The St. Petersons will play their first home game on Thursday night against the Portland Winterhawks.

They are playing the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
